The Journey
Chapter 1: The Struggle
Fresh out of college3, I faced the harsh reality most Indian graduates know too well: 200+ job applications, 5 interviews, zero offers. Despite a decent degree from [University Name], I was lost in the system.
I watched friends with similar qualifications land amazing roles—not because they were smarter, but because they knew how to "package" themselves. They had polished resumes, optimized LinkedIn profiles, and interview strategies. I had none of that.
"That's when I realized: talent isn't the problem. Presentation is."
Chapter 2: The Breakthrough
After months of rejection, I invested my last ₹10,000 in a career coaching program from a Mumbai-based consultant. It changed everything. Within 45 days, I had 3 offers. The difference? A properly formatted resume, an ATS-optimized LinkedIn profile, and interview preparation.
But here's what bothered me: the program cost ₹50,000. Most of my friends in India3 couldn't afford it. Why should world-class career guidance be a luxury only available to those in metro cities or with deep pockets?
"I decided: I'll make this accessible. I'll build it from Odisha. I'll prove you don't need to be in a metro to create global impact."
Chapter 3: Birth of Origennt (2025)
In January 20253, I started Origennt from my 1BHK apartment in Bhubaneswar. No fancy office. No VC funding. Just me, my laptop, and a mission to help 10 people land better jobs that year.
The first client was a college junior who paid me ₹1,000 to rewrite his resume. He got placed at Wipro within 3 weeks—a ₹3.5 LPA jump from his previous offer. He told 5 friends. Those friends told others. Word spread.
By December 2025, I had helped 45 people. That's when I knew this could be bigger than just me.
Chapter 4: Scaling the Vision3
2025 was about building systems. I brought on my first team member, developed the 5-phase methodology, and started incorporating AI tools to optimize our process. We helped 100+ professionals that year—nearly 3x growth.
In a couple of few months3, we crossed 100 clients in the first 6 months. We expanded beyond Odisha, serving clients in Karnataka, Maharashtra, and even international markets. Our average client now sees a 35% salary increase post-placement.
But the proudest moment? When a client from rural Odisha—someone who couldn't afford our full package—got a scholarship I funded personally. Today, she's a Business Analyst at Accenture, earning ₹8.5 LPA. That's why we do this.
Chapter 5: The Mission Ahead (2025-2030)
We're currently at 2563 careers transformed. The goal? 10,000 by 2030. Ambitious? Yes. Impossible? Not if we stay true to our core values: data-driven decisions, empathy first, and relentless execution.
I want Origennt to become the default choice for anyone in India serious about career transformation. I want to prove that tier-2 cities like Bhubaneswar can build world-class companies. I want to show that you don't need to move to Bangalore to succeed—you can create your success right where you are.
"This is just the beginning."
